Civmec are currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators with Final Trim experience to support our upcoming Port Debottlenecking Project. Civmec has been awarded the major civil works package for PDP2 at BHP’s Nelson Point, including delivery of a new Car Dumper 6 (CD6) and associated civil and structural works including vault, tunnel, positioner slabs, substation, dust scrubber, and conveyor interfaces. Key responsibilities - Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior to carrying out the task - Prepare and position plant for operation - Complete a challenge on the piece of plant that you hold the ticket for - Excavate or trim to level using a laser level from a benchmark/RL - Work with a spotter as a team to ensure that all excavations are in line with drawings - Carry out excavator and front end loader operations to a high standard - Operate controls to excavate, break, drill, level, compact, gouge out, move, load and spread earth, rock, rubble, soil and other materials To be successful in the role you will possess the following - 2 years operating a variation of mobile plant equipment on a civil construction mine site - Nationally accredited tickets in relevant mobile plant machinery - Experience operating a Front End Loader - Experience operating an Excavator with final trim desirable - Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness card (White Card) At Civmec we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a Never Assume culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
