About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper to manage a portfolio of clients and take ownership of end-to-end bookkeeping delivery and client communication. This is a client-facing role with responsibility for your own portfolio of clients. You will act as the main point of contact for your allocated clients, while being supported by junior bookkeepers and an offshore team who assist with transactional processing. This role is suited to an experienced bookkeeping professional who enjoys client ownership, variety, and working within a structured and collaborative team environment. Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of bookkeeping clients across a range of industriesProvide end-to-end bookkeeping services including bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reportingAct as the primary point of contact for assigned clientsCoordinate workflow with internal junior bookkeepers and offshore team membersReview and oversee transactional processing completed by support teamsEnsure accuracy and timeliness of BAS/IAS preparation support workMaintain up-to-date client records and ensure compliance requirements are metMonitor workflow and deadlines across your client portfolioLiaise with internal team members to ensure smooth service delivery Key RequirementsTertiary qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance or related field (preferred)3–5 years’ bookkeeping experience in a public practice or multi-client environmentStrong experience with Xero and/or MYOBConfident managing multiple clients and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong understanding of end-to-end bookkeeping processes, including payroll and reconciliationsExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamExperience working with support staff or offshore teams is highly regarded What We OfferClient-facing role with full portfolio ownershipExposure to a diverse range of industries and clientsSupport from junior bookkeepers and offshore team membersCollaborative and structured team environmentOpportunity to take ownership of client relationships and service delivery Working RightsApplicants must have full Australian working rights.
