Howard Porter designs and builds quality transport equipment for the mining, resources and transport industries Howard Porter is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Yardperson - Stores to be based at our Spearwood manufacturing facility. Duties and Responsibilities include: Move inventory and materials across facilities Move vehicles and trailers across facilities Use forktruck to load unload stock items Process inventory for delivery • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location • Package items and label correctly • Stack and organize large bulk items • Remove inventory from trucks or shipping • Operate heavy machinery like forklifts • Work as an active team member to complete team goals • Prepare documentation and inventory for audits Requirements and Qualifications At least 2 year experince as yard person Mechanically minded Must have good understanding and practices of OH&S Able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
