Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our Global Forwarding team, based in Myaree, WA. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to customers, managing the movement of import shipments while ensuring a seamless customer experience from arrival through to final delivery. Working closely with Operations, Sales, Commercial and Business Development teams, you will proactively manage customer expectations, provide solutions to challenges, and build long-term relationships that contribute to customer retention and business growth. Key Accountabilities: Manage customer enquiries and oversee the end-to-end coordination of shipments Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and service excellence Monitor shipment progress, identify potential issues and provide timely updates and solutions Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and service levels maintained Support the onboarding and transition of new customer accounts Prepare quotations, rate requests and identify opportunities to grow existing customer relationships Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Experience within freight forwarding, with strong knowledge of import operations Sound understanding of Australian import processes and the broader supply chain Experience using CargoWise and strong administrative and system skills Proven ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues effectively Excellent communication, customer service and stakeholder management skills Industry qualifications (RACA, IATA or FIATA) and CargoWise certification are desirable About DP World DP World is reshaping the future of global trade to improve lives everywhere.
