The Human Resource Officer is responsible for performing a variety of human resource duties including keeping the human resource databases current as well as keeping all employee records and files current and complete. The Human Resource Officer will assist with the collation of data required for all areas of Human Resource. The position is responsible for end-to-end recruitment, verification of employee credentials, coordination of training logistics, provides information and guidance in relation to employment conditions under the industrial instrument and assists in the production of contract variations as well as performance management documents. This position will be expected to provide assistance to the Human Resource Manager with all ad-hoc projects to be rolled out on a regular basis. This role involves drawing on a wide range of Human Resource–related skills, knowledge and experience - which includes: ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Tertiary Qualification or similar experience High level of proficiency in the use of office systems. High level organizational and time management skills Sound research, analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Relevant and prior experience in working successfully as a team member. National Police Clearance. (issued within past 6 months) Current Driver’s Licence Evidence of Primary Course of Covid Vaccination DESIRABLE CRITERIA Prior experience in the Not-for-Profit Sector. Good understanding of Human Resource functions.
