We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the delivery of major hydrocarbon facilities across Defence and Mining sectors. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across both engineering design and site-based project delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop mechanical designs for piping systems, pump skids, and fuel/lubrication packages Produce and review detailed design drawings, layouts, and datasheets Support equipment selection, sizing, and specification for pumps and associated systems Interface with vendors to ensure compliance with technical and project requirements Review and respond to technical queries and provide design clarifications Support design verification, constructability reviews, and commissioning readiness About You Experience in mechanical design within oil & gas, mining, or industrial projects Strong knowledge of piping design, pump systems, and packaged equipment Experience working with relevant codes, standards, and specifications Experience with CAD and Modelling Software Ability to liaise with vendors and multidisciplinary teams Detail-oriented with a focus on practical, buildable design solutions
