About the Role As the Team Leader – Wellbeing, you'll provide leadership, operational oversight and clinical support to a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health and wellbeing services across rural and remote Queensland. You'll be responsible for creating a positive and collaborative team culture while ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with quality and compliance requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Leading, mentoring and supporting a multidisciplinary Wellbeing Team. Fostering a positive, collaborative and culturally safe workplace culture. Providing clinical leadership and operational oversight across wellbeing programs. Supporting recruitment, onboarding, supervision and professional development. Managing staffing, resources, budgets and service planning. Ensuring programs meet quality, compliance and reporting requirements. Building strong relationships with remote communities, Elders and partner organisations. Driving innovation, continuous improvement and service excellence. Travelling regularly throughout North West and Lower Gulf Queensland by road and small aircraft. About You You're a confident, authentic and compassionate leader who enjoys bringing out the best in others. You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate with empathy, and are passionate about improving wellbeing outcomes in rural and remote communities. You'll also bring: A tertiary qualification in Mental Health, Social Work, Community Services or a related discipline. Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the relevant professional body, where applicable. Demonstrated leadership experience within health, mental health or community services. Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills. An understanding of trauma-informed practice and culturally safe service delivery. Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, or a willingness to learn and work respectfully alongside communities. Strong organisational, documentation and digital skills. A current Class C Driver Licence. Eligibility to obtain a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Card. Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or unrestricted Australian working rights. Leadership or management qualifications and not-for-profit experience will be highly regarded.
