You'll have the chance to contribute to the delivery of a range of key work packages impacting millions In this role, you'll: Join our Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Project Delivery Commercial team Work with the Commercial Director and Associate Director Commercial, in leading the commercial management of the SSTOM package (being delivered as a Public Private Partnership with Parklife Metro as the private sector counterparty), ensuring the implementation of the commercial framework and administration of the contracts. Provide commercial advice to the Delivery Team and Operations Team on matters including Modification payments and impacts on Base Case Financial Model, State Contributions, operational readiness, project-wide claims, impacts on third parties, etc. Key responsibilities include leading the contract management of the Independent Certifier Deed, coordinating the interface issues between the third parties and SSTOM, coordinate the development of the operational agreements and manage the claims optimisation process and deed amendments. Prepare and plan reports and briefing notes, manage variations, develop cost forecasts, maintain registers, and collaborate with contractors and internal stakeholders on time sensitive issues as they arise. Manage and lead a small team and be the conduit between junior team members and commercial leaders within the business. About you You will ideally have experience in commercial, legal or project management roles in the delivery phase of major construction projects. Your ability to collaborate, influence and engage with internal & external stakeholders is what will set you up for success in this role. With high attention to detail and exceptional written communication skills, you are valued for your ability to think critically to form and present commercial recommendations to your internal stakeholders that drive best for project solutions and value for money outcomes. You are well versed in commercial best practices when it comes to delivering major infrastructure projects and can demonstrate your ability to work collaboratively with your peers and the project delivery team. You will ideally have experience working on a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project. You are a confident, inspiring, and pragmatic leader with passion for growing and developing your team’s commercial capabilities in a project delivery environment.
