The business is known for its structured transport networks, established carrier relationships, and consistent shipment flow, supporting key industries including manufacturing, retail, and industrial sectors. With a focus on operational performance and service reliability, this organisation offers a stable environment for experienced import professionals to take ownership of end-to-end transport delivery. This role is suited to an experienced operator who can take ownership of sea freight import deliveries, manage transport providers against KPIs, and act as a key point of contact for customers across day-to-day delivery requirements. You will be responsible for coordinating import transport activity, overseeing dehire and delivery processes, and ensuring operational performance across allocated shipments. A core part of the position is the day-to-day management of FCL and LCL truckers, ensuring service levels are met, issues are resolved quickly and client transport outcomes are delivered efficiently. Key Responsibilities Coordinate sea freight import deliveries, including transport execution and dehire Manage FCL and LCL truckers, driving KPI performance and service outcomes Liaise with customers on delivery requirements, issues, and updates Monitor Customs, AQIS and DAFF requirements to ensure compliant processing Resolve transport issues quickly to maintain delivery timelines and efficiency Skills & Experience Demonstrate 5–8 years’ experience in freight forwarding, focused on ocean imports Manage FCL and LCL transport providers, including allocation and performance Apply strong knowledge of import deliveries, dehire, and transport coordination Operate CargoWise or similar systems to manage shipments and workflows Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders What's in it for you?
