Room Leader - Babies Room | Kilsyth The Role This is an amazing opportunity to join a family-focused, community-driven early learning service in Kilsyth as the Babies Room Leader. We are looking for an experienced Room Leader who is passionate about working with infants and confident leading a team of educators. As the Babies Room Leader, you will take charge of planning and implementing engaging, nurturing, and child-led learning experiences that reflect the EYLF, VEYLDF, and National Quality Standards. Working alongside a supportive team, you will create a safe, rewarding, and calm environment where children can thrive during their first years of learning and development. You will also play an important role in building strong relationships with families and supporting children as they take their first steps into care. The Room Leader We're Looking For You are someone who values building meaningful relationships with children, families, and the wider community. You are passionate about advocating for children's voices and have a strong understanding of the EYLF, VEYLDF, and how to bring these frameworks to life through your planning and practice. You will have: Experience leading, supporting, and mentoring educators Strong knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLDF, and National Quality Standards Experience creating engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A positive and collaborative approach to teamwork A genuine passion for supporting infants during their early years Ideally, you will have at least 2 years' experience working as a Room Leader within an early childhood setting. To be considered for this role, you must hold: Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (minimum) or ACECQA-approved equivalent Current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or VIT Registration Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications Strong knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLDF, and National Quality Standards Current Mandatory Reporting certification Excellent written and verbal communication skills Two relevant Early Childhood references Full Australian working rights (Visa holders must have a minimum of 12 months remaining on their current visa) To apply, please send your resume to Hannah.d@anzuk.education.
