Job reference: 851353 Location: Adelaide CBD Ongoing appointment ASO6 - $111,870 to $119,994 pa superannuation The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community. Commercial Marine and State Waters manages ferry and marine assets, delivering projects, supporting operations, and improving sustainable and efficient marine services. Key duties include leading ferry infrastructure and sustainability projects, managing asset procurement and delivery, maintenance and renewal activities of ferry assets, and supporting efficient ferry and marine operations. We are seeking a collaborative and proactive project manager with strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills, proven project delivery experience, and a commitment to safety, continuous improvement and customer-focused outcomes. Educational Qualifications / Licences Degree in mechanical engineering providing eligibility for graduate membership as a Professional Engineer of the Institution of Engineers, Australia. Qualifications in procurement, contract management and/or project management is regarded. A current Drivers Licence is essential. Special Conditions A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years. Some out-of-hours and weekend work along with some intra / interstate travel may be required.
