An opportunity exists to join a long-term flexible packaging supply company. Integrated Packaging is a national company with a reputation for delivering excellent service, support and knowledge within the industry. Our Flexibles division provides a vast range of flexible packaging products used for packing beverages, retail and wholesale foods, healthcare products and agricultural films. You will be working on high speed flexographic printing machines, high speed slitting, lamination and converting including designing, machining, hydraulics, pneumatics. Our Regency Park site is currently undergoing significant investment. Key Responsibilities of the role: Attend to breakdowns, equipment trouble shooting, repairs and preventive maintenance work orders Maintain & repair mechanical plant machinery and equipment to operational standards Identify defective or worn mechanical components or equipment and assist in root cause analysis Work on continuous improvement projects Ability to work at times autonomously and without direct supervision To be successful in this role, you will need to: Certificate 3 in Engineering – Mechanical Trade Be attentive, organised and display a good level of attention to detail. Experience in fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and complex mechanical systems Experience with MEX as a CMMS would be an advantage Strong commitment to Workplace Health & Safety Good communication skills Welding qualification/experience desirable but not essential (must be willing to undertake training) EWP ticket and Forklift license are desirable but not essential (must be willing to undertake training) Additional Information Integrated Packaging is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
