About the role The contractor will be engaged in the role of Senior Microsoft Stack Developer to provide software development capability across a business application environment. Duties Design, build, test and maintain business applications, primarily using Microsoft technologies and the .NET stack, to support the operational and legislative business needs; Coordinate, design, build and maintain Windows desktop and related business applications, including solutions built using C#, WPF and MVVM patterns, and provide technical and professional advice on complex development problems; Use Azure DevOps, Git and related tooling to support source control, quality practices, and build and release processes, including CI/CD where required; Design and implement web, API and integration components using ASP.NET, Web API, Azure Functions and related Microsoft technologies to improve functionality, automation and system interoperability. Skills / Experience Demonstrate strong recent experience in .NET development, including C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, generics, multithreading, object-oriented programming, and sound understanding of MVVM and command design patterns; Demonstrate experience with Azure serverless functions, tables and storage accounts, together with familiarity working with JSON and XML in application development and integration contexts.
