Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented person to join our team and drive our digital marketing and communications. Key responsibilities: Plan, create and publish engaging multimedia content across Royal Life Saving WA’s websites, social media channels, eDMs and digital campaigns, including video, photography, interviews, articles and social content. Attend programs, community activities and events to capture compelling stories, footage and photography that demonstrate organisational impact. Manage organic social content planning, scheduling and publishing. Develop audience-focused content that supports training enrolments, program participation, fundraising initiatives, events and organisational awareness. Produce copy, video, photography and creative assets for paid campaigns, working from briefs provided by the Digital Marketing Specialist and adapting content for different audiences, placements and formats. Write, build and coordinate eDM content, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging and aligned with campaign objectives. Write, edit and publish accessible website content, applying SEO and GEO principles and recommendations where relevant. Monitor content, social and email performance and use insights to refine messaging, formats and future content activity. Maintain an organised digital asset library and efficiently repurpose content across channels and audiences. Ensure all content meets brand, accessibility, privacy, consent, safeguarding and quality requirements. Collaborate with internal teams, partners and community stakeholders to identify content opportunities and support broader marketing priorities during peak periods. Selection Criteria Essential At least two years’ experience in content creation, digital communications, marketing or a related role. Experience creating engaging content for digital channels, including social media, websites or email. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences. Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Sked, Campaign Monitor, Squiz or similar platforms. Confidence creating short-form video and photography content. Familiarity with social media scheduling, content management or email marketing platforms. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work collaboratively, represent the organisation professionally and attend occasional events outside standard hours. Current driver’s licence. Desirable Qualification in marketing, communications, journalism, media or a related field. Understanding of SEO, GEO, digital accessibility or content performance reporting. Familiarity with Meta advertising formats and creating content for paid campaigns. Experience in community, education, training, aquatics or the not-for-profit sector. Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
