This opportunity will see you contribute to projects across various stages of development, from concept studies through to detailed engineering. Working as part of an established multidisciplinary design team, you'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle with a strong focus on structural design. The role is suited to Structural Designers at all levels, from experienced designers through to senior and principal-level professionals with strong Advance Steel capability. Benefits • Work across a diverse portfolio of mineral processing and resource sector projects • Join a recognised leader in engineering and project delivery • Opportunity to contribute across all project phases from concept to detailed design • Collaborative multidisciplinary engineering environment • Initial 6-month contract with strong extension potential • Competitive remuneration dependent on experience Essential Qualifications & Skills • Experience within mining, minerals processing or heavy industry projects • Strong proficiency using Advance Steel software • Experience delivering projects from concept design through to detailed engineering • Ability to convert engineering concepts into practical 3D designs • Understanding of relevant Australian standards • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities • AutoCAD 2D experience highly regarded • Diploma in Engineering or similar qualification preferred but not essential Duties & Responsibilities • Develop structural designs from engineering concepts through to detailed design • Produce accurate 3D models and design documentation using Advance Steel • Prepare and review structural design deliverables for quality and accuracy • Ensure designs comply with project specifications and industry standards • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across project phases • Support the delivery of mineral processing and resource sector projects • Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and project outcomes About our Client Our client is a well-established engineering and project delivery organisation supporting major mining and mineral processing developments across Australia and internationally.
