We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a high-profile Builder/ Developer working on landmark residential projects in North Sydney, Eastern Suburbs and in the Hills District. They are a renowned company that were named in the top 20 builders in the Hubexo Construction League list for NSW and have a very large project pipeline ensuring career stability. This is a site-based role offering the opportunity to work on a up to $150m developments of more than 200 apartments from start to finish, with a salary of up to $190,000 package depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Establish, maintain and monitor project quality standards and procedures Identify issues with the project, lead the development and implementation of solutions Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance Review quality of subcontract works on site and liaise with the project team Review and check commissioning and testing in regard to appropriate services description and inclusions Act as facilitator to resolve design and co-ordination issues that arise between client, consultant and subcontract elements Manage the flow of technical information between the design disciplines and internal and external stakeholders Manage the design team to ensure that works proceed in line with the target programme and the design documentation programme Review consultant and subcontractor output for compliance with the design brief Check tender package content for scope of work, product usage and design logic are carried out – where applicable. Provide technical support and assistance to all members of the project team What We’re Looking For: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field 5 years’ experience in a similar engineering role. Strong understanding of quality and design for structures, services, finishes, and facades. Proven experience on large-scale ($40M) residential projects. Familiarity with Sydney’s construction market, subcontractors, and consultants. Proactive problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a collaborative approach.
