Our client, Phoenix Steel Sales Pty Ltd, is seeking experienced Metal Fabricators to join its manufacturing team. The company specialises in the fabrication of steel products and associated support systems for industrial and commercial applications, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and precision. Key Duties Fabricate and weld steel components including supports, brackets, and related structures Perform MIG and TIG welding in accordance with technical drawings and specifications Operate workshop machinery such as presses, folding machines, and other fabrication equipment as required Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly Inspect completed welds and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with WHS requirements Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of welding equipment and machinery Work collaboratively with the production team to meet project and delivery requirements Location: The successful applicant may be assigned to any of the following locations based on operational requirements: Acacia Ridge QLD 4110 Welshpool WA 6106 Mt Saint John QLD 4818 Requirements Relevant trade qualification as a Welder or Boilermaker Minimum 3 years’ experience in welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment Strong experience in MIG and TIG welding Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience operating fabrication machinery such as presses and folding machines (preferred) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when required What We Offer Full-time stable position with a reputable steel fabrication company Supportive and safety-focused working environment Opportunity to develop skills in fabrication and machine operation Long-term career stability and growth opportunities
