A fantastic opportunity is available for a motivated and customer focused professional to join a leading global insurance brokerage within their high volume SME broking division based in Ormeau. This role is ideal for someone with strong phone-based customer service or sales experience who is looking to build a longterm career within insurance broking. Full training and support towards Tier 1 qualification will be provided. Located approximately 30 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and central Gold Coast, this office has a strong team culture with excellent internal progression opportunities. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of SME insurance clients Handle policy renewals and retention conversations Build strong relationships with clients over the phone and via email Provide general insurance advice and discuss appropriate coverage options Liaise with insurers to source suitable policies and pricing Manage cancellation and retention strategies Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation Work collaboratively within a team-focused environment About You Previous experience within customer service, sales, call centre, retail, banking, hospitality, or other phone-based environments Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable working in a sales-focused environment Professional presentation and office experience preferred Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop Insurance experience or Tier 1 qualification is advantageous but not essential What’s On Offer Up to $85K package Full support to complete Tier 1 qualification Clear career progression pathways into Business Development Executive roles Strong team culture and supportive leadership Stable Monday to Friday hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm Office-based for the first 6 months, with 2 days work from home available thereafter Opportunity to join a business with consistent internal growth and promotion opportunities This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to transition into a professional corporate career with longterm development, structured training, and achievable targets within a supportive environment.
