Reconciliation SA is looking for a new member of their events team - working to deliver a suite of impactful events including the Reconciliation SA National Reconciliation Week Breakfast and Fundraising Gala. This position is working within a small events team with an existing Events and Sponsorship manager, we are open to hiring at the coordinator level for a candidate looking to grow in the organisation. The Ticketing, Events and Sponsorship Coordinator / Manager is responsible for implementing the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of events aligned to the Reconciliation SA Strategic Directions. This includes relationship management with key stakeholders and the identification and development of new relationships. The Ticketing, Events and Sponsorship Coordinator / Manager will provide advice and support to other programs requiring engagement and event expertise. Technical Delivery - Event Delivery and Management 1. Coordinate Reconciliation SAs events to ensure the successful delivery of events through liaising with key stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, guest speakers, performers, arranging invitations, sending communication to clients/attendees, catering, ticketing, fundraising, sponsorship, feedback, and evaluation 2. Leadership of events and support staff, as required 3. Manage budgets for events 4. Collaborate with Reconciliation SA marketing staff to facilitate the delivery of marketing and promotions for all events including direct email campaigns, website, ticketing, public relations and social media 5. Coordinate and attend collaborative programs with Reconciliation SA partners, sponsors, and members 6. Ensure all records and data are accurate, stored and that confidentiality is maintained 7. Grow the support base of Reconciliation SA through the development and management of event sponsorship prospectuses Relationship Management 1. Engage and work with South Australian Aboriginal stakeholders, to ensure that the work undertaken is mindful and respectful of First Nations people’s rights and cultural interests and recognises the value of their time. 2. Engage and work with non-Aboriginal organisations to support their understanding, engagement, and participation in the Reconciliation movement and Reconciliation SA 3. Develop and maintain relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, focussing on event sponsors, partners and Reconciliation SA members Team Engagement 1. Positively represent and educate Reconciliation SA to all stakeholders. 2. Maintain a safe and healthy workplace, identify, and act upon potential workplace hazards and identify and implement improvements 3. Operate in line with Reconciliation SAs policies and procedures and follow reasonable directions to help ensure the health, safety and welfare of self and others 4. The appointment is subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period with probationary review meetings being conducted in the first 3 months and six months of employment 2.
