Working in a team environment, you will be responsible for the management of twenty-three residential properties, ensuring exceptional service. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Building and Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, compliance and day-to-day management of a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. This role is ideal for someone with a background in property, building maintenance or facilities management who enjoys variety, problem-solving and ensuring properties are safe, compliant and well maintained. About the Role Reporting to the Property and Leasing Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance, managing contractors and overseeing compliance requirements across multiple properties. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of commercial and residential properties Coordinating both reactive and preventative maintenance works Engaging and managing trades, contractors and service providers Overseeing building compliance requirements, certifications and service schedules Ensuring properties meet all relevant safety, maintenance and compliance obligations Coordinating inspections, repairs and facility improvement projects Maintaining accurate records, reports, invoices and compliance documentation Supporting workplace health and safety requirements across sites Responding to urgent maintenance issues when required Building strong relationships with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders Identifying opportunities to improve building performance, maintenance processes and compliance systems About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in building, facilities, property or maintenance management Experience working across commercial and/or residential properties A strong understanding of building maintenance and property compliance requirements Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills The ability to manage multiple priorities and sites simultaneously Strong communication and relationship management skills Confidence using Microsoft Office and property or maintenance management systems A practical, proactive and hands-on approach A current driver's licence What We Offer A supportive and collaborative team environment Variety and autonomy in your day-to-day work Opportunities for professional growth and development Competitive remuneration package The opportunity to play a key role within a growing organisation If you have experience managing buildings, facilities or property portfolios and enjoy ensuring properties remain safe, compliant and operating effectively, we would love to hear from you Apply now.
