As the business continues to grow and evolve its payroll platform to meet changing legislative requirements and client needs, an exciting newly created opportunity has become available for a Payroll Product Owner / Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping the future. About the Role As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering product enhancements across payroll, accounting and back-office capabilities. You’ll work closely with delivery, support and operational teams to translate regulatory requirements and customer needs into practical product outcomes. What You will Be Doing Monitor and interpret changes to Australian payroll legislation and ATO compliance requirements. Drive compliance initiatives across Single Touch Payroll (STP), SuperStream, Payday Super and related reporting obligations. Translate legislative and business requirements into clear user stories and product enhancements. Own and prioritise the payroll compliance product backlog. Perform testing and quality assurance for new product releases. Develop knowledge articles, documentation and training materials to keep internal teams informed and empowered. The Ideal candidate: Must have experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Payroll Systems Specialist. Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and ATO compliance. Hands-on experience with STP, SuperStream, Payday Super and payroll reporting requirements. A background in payroll, HR technology, fintech or bookkeeping will be highly regarded. What’s on offer?
