This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to take ownership of weekly payroll processing within a supportive team environment that values flexibility, development and work-life balance. About the Role Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in the end-to-end processing of a weekly payroll for a diverse workforce. Working alongside an experienced payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy while navigating a complex award environment and managing a variety of payroll scenarios. Key Responsibilities End-to-end processing of weekly payroll for circa 500 employees Interpret and apply multiple awards, EBAs and payroll rules accurately Manage overtime calculations, allowances and one-off adjustments Process new starters, terminations and payroll changes Resolve payroll queries from employees and stakeholders Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies Maintain accurate payroll records and reporting Collaborate closely with payroll and finance stakeholders to support smooth payroll operations About You Minimum 5 years Australian payroll experience Strong experience processing weekly payrolls in a high-volume environment Proven experience managing multiple modern awards and enterprise agreements Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively within a team Ability to manage deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced payroll environment Experience with payroll systems and automated award interpretation tools highly regarded Benefits Permanent, Full-time role paying $85,000 - $90,000 Super Hybrid working arrangement with 3 days WFH and 2 days office-based Flexible office attendance outside key team collaboration days Supportive and social team culture Ongoing training and development Additional wellbeing leave initiatives Stable permanent position with long-term career opportunities How to Apply To apply, please submit your application via the link below.
