Restaurant Manager Duties and responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and report directly to the owner on business performance and operational matters. Coordinate menu planning and development in consultation with chefs, taking into account customer preferences, seasonal availability, and business objectives. Monitor stock levels, manage inventory records, and coordinate the procurement of food, beverages, and other supplies from approved suppliers. Assist in budget management by monitoring revenue, expenses, and operational costs, and provide regular reports to the owner. Supervise staff performance and customer service standards to ensure efficient restaurant operations and a positive dining experience. Recruit, train, roster, and manage restaurant staff, including conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing support and guidance. Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace procedures, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards across all areas of the venue. Address customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Monitor the presentation and cleanliness of the venue to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff. Skills and experience:? Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification. At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
