The Role We are seeking an experienced and driven HVACR Plumber to join the TAS Projects Team, focusing on installations in Hobart, who will be primarily responsible for delivering high-quality installations & commissioning of HVACR systems on commercial project sites. The role involves interpreting plans and specifications, conducting site measurements, and preparing systems for installation, including setting out pipework, ductwork, refrigeration systems, and equipment mounting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment including pipes, valves, pumps, water heaters, faucets, toilets, and drains Diagnose plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and system failures Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure code compliance and minimize downtime Respond to routine service requests and emergency calls (including after-hours or on-call rotations as required) Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing specifications Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and university safety standards Coordinate work with other trades (HVAC, electrical, carpentry) and facilities staff Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and maintenance activities Assist with campus renovations, upgrades, and new construction projects as needed Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition Key Competencies The successful candidate will possess the following: Ability to interpret plans, drawings & specifications to complete accurate and compliant installations Ensure compliance with safety regulations, state regulations and industry standards Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a pleasant phone manner Well-presented and reliable, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail Benefits of Working with Airmaster We pride ourselves on finding good people who deliver quality and share a common goal.
