The Organisation Mimal Land Management is an Indigenous owned and operated organisation focused on bringing benefits to country and culture for Dalabon, Rembarrnga and Mayili landowners and people of south-central Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. Our country is a living landscape – our culture, heritage, laws and language are linked to the land. The area’s natural and cultural assets are managed by Mimal Rangers on behalf of and in cooperation with landowners and custodians. Under an established Healthy Country Plan, the rangers manage land, water and fire, and conduct wildlife protection, monitoring and revegetation programs, weed and feral animal control, and carry out rock art, cultural history and language projects and learning on country education programs with school children. The Opportunity The Finance Administration Officer supports Mimal’s financial operations by delivering accurate, timely accounting, payroll and administrative services. The role manages core tasks such as payroll preparation, accounts processing, reconciliations and grants tracking, while assisting with financial reporting. Working closely with the Office Manager and General Manager - Finance, it strengthens financial governance, ensures compliance with funding requirements and contributes to efficient systems and team capability across the organisation. The role is based in Nightcliff, NT.
