FIFO ALL-ROUND OPERATORS – GROOTE EYLANDT 18:10 roster; flights from Darwin or Cairns; ongoing work. We’re looking for experienced all-round operators for a FIFO role on Groote Eylandt. What’s on offer: - Flights from Darwin or Cairns - Accommodation and meals in a resort-style camp - 18 days on / 10 days off roster - Ongoing work for the right candidates - Competitive rates based on experience and tickets The role: - Operating across mine and civil environments - Machinery includes dozers, excavators, loaders, skid steers, graders and rollers (3-4 tickets required) - Truck work including side tipping and occasional float work Duties include: - Final trim - Bulk earthworks and bulk loading - Scrub clearing - Trenching and backfill - Batters, drains and ramp work - Involvement in crushing and screening Requirements: - 5 years experience in civil/mining - HC licence ideally; MC licence highly desirable - Tickets across multiple plant — dozers, excavators, loaders, skid steers, graders and rollers (3-4 required) - Experience in crushing and screening an advantage - Able to pass mine medical and drug and alcohol testing - South32 inducted (Dams and Quarries) highly regarded
