We’re working across a diverse and exciting portfolio of projects spanning transport, resources, water and environmental sectors, partnering with clients to solve complex challenges through geospatial and digital innovation. As a Senior Geospatial Consultant , this role will support the delivery of complex geospatial and digital solutions for clients, combining strong technical capability with a client‑focused mindset. This is a visible, hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with clients, shaping solutions and contributing to high‑quality project outcomes. Based in Hobart, this role will contribute to the delivery of geospatial projects while working closely with clients and internal teams. There will be opportunities to work alongside clients, including periods of secondment within client offices, providing valuable exposure to different environments and enabling the development of strong, trusted relationships. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning and delivery of geospatial and digital projects, ensuring outcomes meet client requirements and are delivered efficiently. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities to add value. Apply and guide the use of geospatial and digital tools and methodologies across project delivery. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of geospatial products, services and delivery approaches. Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing team environment. Contribute to business development activities, including supporting proposals and identifying new opportunities. Identify and implement innovative and automated approaches to improve data analysis and management processes. Support sound commercial outcomes across projects, including awareness of budgets, timelines and risks. Required Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification in Geospatial Science, GIS, Data Science, Computer Science or a related discipline. Strong experience working with GIS platforms, particularly the ESRI suite (ArcGIS, AGOL, ArcGIS Portal and web mapping). Solid understanding of data structures, spatial databases and data management principles. Working knowledge of CAD software and its integration with GIS workflows. Familiarity with FME Desktop and its application in data transformation and integration. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
