Health, Safety & Compliance Advisor About the Client A Western Australia-based specialist provider of customised support vehicles for the mining and resources sector. The business designs, builds, and maintains purpose-built site vehicles that help mining operations operate safely and efficiently. About the Role This position requires someone capable of supporting day-to-day WHS functions while stepping into advisory-level responsibilities when required. Initially offered as a 3–6 month contract, the role provides flexibility and strong potential for extension and increased hours. Key Responsibilities Support incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions Conduct and assist with risk assessments and hazard identification activities Provide WHS guidance and support to supervisors and operational teams Maintain safety documentation, registers, and compliance records Complete WHS reporting and administration activities Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety systems Assist with quality and compliance-related activities Provide advisor-level support when required Qualifications and Requirements Strong WHS experience beyond entry-level Safety Officer capability Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments Ability to engage effectively with supervisors and operational personnel Strong understanding of WHS compliance requirements Ability to work autonomously across a broad range of WHS functions Experience balancing operational safety and administrative compliance What we can offer Initial 3–6 month contract Approximately 2–3 days per week Flexible working arrangement Additional hours available during peak periods and leave coverage Strong likelihood of extension WHS Support Officer About the Client Our client is a well-established Western Australian business servicing residential, commercial, and industrial customers across a range of projects and maintenance services.
