Your new role Reporting to the Head of Programme Delivery, your role will be to lead a team of project managers in the planning, execution and closeout elements of a major project or multiple major projects which may include significant docked submarine maintenance availabilities. Lead and coordinate 4 project work streams: Facilities & Infrastructure, Maintenance Availability & OPM, Tooling & Equipment and Program Readiness Lead and manage complex, high-value, large-scale or multi-stream projects/programs including planning, integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, performance, risk, change, procurement management Oversee project delivery, supply chain, commercial, engineering, delivery support, SSN program team, ensuring the right toolsets are in place, confirming quality of outputs, reporting and risk coordination. Leading the development of the schedule performance baseline and then monitoring project performance trends, analysing variances and developing corrective actions to ensure delivery against the performance baseline. Ensure integration across key functions including programme delivery, engineering, supply chain, commercial and delivery support Leading the coordination and engagement with client representatives, internal functional departments and stakeholders and external contractors as required, to ensure the project objectives are understood and delivered. Drive quality assurance of outputs and ensure the right project management toolsets are in place Manage internal and external stakeholder interfaces, including structured reporting Preparation and presentation of required project reports and briefs to Senior Management Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibility for financial management of the project. Respond to evolving project requirements and support emerging priorities Project management activities required during all phases of the project lifecycle including but not limited to: Project Execution Planning, Budget and Schedule development, Risk Management, Quality Management, Implementation, Close Out, E-2-E adherence and Gate Reviews What you'll need to succeed Please note that this role requires a security clearance.
