We're a growing caravan service and repair workshop based in Pakenham, specialising in warranty repairs, insurance repairs, servicing and aftermarket accessory installations for a range of leading caravan brands. As our workshop continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Caravan Technician to join our team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys diagnosing faults, solving problems and takes genuine pride in producing high-quality workmanship. You'll be trusted to work independently while also collaborating with a supportive team to deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers. About the Role No two days are the same. You'll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing caravans, carrying out scheduled servicing, completing insurance and warranty repairs, and installing a variety of aftermarket accessories. Working across all areas of the caravan, you'll ensure every repair is completed safely, efficiently and to a professional standard. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and identify the root cause of caravan faults and defects. Complete warranty and insurance repairs to a high standard. Carry out caravan servicing and preventative maintenance. Install aftermarket accessories including solar systems, lithium battery upgrades, Starlink, awnings, towing accessories and other customer-requested upgrades. Perform repairs to cabinetry, plumbing, electrical systems, composite panels and general caravan components. Test completed repairs to ensure faults have been fully rectified. Maintain accurate job records using our workshop management system. Work safely while maintaining a clean and organised workshop. Assist with general workshop and yard duties, including moving caravans where required. About You We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys finding solutions rather than simply replacing parts. You will ideally have: Previous experience as a caravan technician or in a similar trade. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Experience working with hand and power tools. A sound understanding of caravan construction and systems. Experience across plumbing, 12V electrical, cabinetry or composite panel repairs (highly regarded). Good communication and organisational skills. Basic computer skills. A current driver's licence. A forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
