IT Systems Administrator NV1 Cleared | Microsoft 365 | Linux | Security-Focused Environment Adelaide Permanent Opportunity We're a fast-growing technology organisation looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to take ownership of our ICT environment and help drive reliability, security, and continuous improvement across the business. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a scale-up environment, enjoys autonomy, and is comfortable making decisions in a dynamic and evolving setting. What You'll Do Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams Manage Linux (Ubuntu) servers and Proxmox virtualisation Support networking, VPNs, firewalls, backups and disaster recovery Administer Mimecast and security access controls Provide end-user support and manage hardware lifecycle activities Support compliance with Essential Eight, DISP, and internal security requirements Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation and continuous improvement What You'll Bring Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience Linux/Unix administration skills (Ubuntu preferred) Virtualisation experience (Proxmox, VMware or similar) Networking and infrastructure support experience Understanding of cyber security, access management and backup solutions Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and take ownership Desirable Jenkins, Gitea or CI/CD tool experience Scripting and automation skills Experience in defence, government or regulated environments Knowledge of Essential Eight and DISP Essential Requirement Current NV1 Security Clearance If you're a proactive systems administrator who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and working in a high-trust environment, we'd love to hear from you.
