Own the number-one account for an award-winning, Australian-owned mining solutions business. The company you'll join A long-established, Australian-owned manufacturer and service provider supplying highly specialised solutions to the mining and resources sector. Being locally owned and manufactured is a genuine competitive edge — it kept them supplying key clients through global supply-chain disruptions when offshore competitors couldn't. This is a true solutions business, not an off-the-shelf supplier. They consult with customers to understand the real challenge, then design tailored solutions through their own R&D team and engineers — recently recognised with an industry innovation award for exactly this. It's also a people-first culture with exceptional tenure (under 2% turnover): a positive, no-egos team that likes to have a laugh, get on with it, and back each other. The WA operation has grown strongly over the last four years and contributes around half of national revenue. The opportunity You'll take ownership of the company's single largest account, acting as the primary point of contact across three WA sites where they have full incumbency. Your focus is protecting and deepening those relationships — becoming the trusted advisor the customer calls first. You won't need to be an engineer; the technical team sits behind you. What matters is curiosity, the ability to ask great questions, and the drive to turn what you hear on site into real solutions internally. What you'll do Be the face of the business on site — building relationships with process engineers, metallurgists, and superintendent-level stakeholders Uncover operational pain points and translate them into tailored product and service solutions Partner closely with internal engineering, service, and operations teams to coordinate product concepts, site trials, and improvement projects Protect existing incumbency and, where you have the appetite, help grow the account into new opportunities Balance office time in Belmont with regular short site visits (typically a couple of days at a time, fly-in fly-out) What you'll bring A proactive, consultative approach — you build trust and genuinely enjoy solving client problems, not chasing quick wins Experience selling customised or bespoke solutions (rather than off-the-shelf products) on a longer, relationship-led sales cycle Comfort operating in a mining or industrial environment, including travel to mine sites Strong internal influencing skills — much of the role is coordinating people and processes behind the scenes Existing familiarity with tier-one mining operators is highly regarded but not essential — we'll back the right attributes and bring you up to speed What's on offer $130,000 base $10,000 vehicle allowance superannuation KPI incentive program (up to $15,000 p.a.) on completion of probation A clear pathway to progress into a Business Solutions ("hunter") role as your knowledge deepens Genuine autonomy, a collaborative team, and a business that invests in its people How to apply This is an exclusive search managed by ReillyScott.
