The Company We're partnering with a well-established national essential services business with a strong reputation across the commercial property sector. With significant growth opportunities across its customer base, the business is continuing to invest in its commercial team and is looking for an experienced Account Manager to help drive long-term customer growth while managing a high-value portfolio. The Opportunity This is far more than a traditional Account Manager role. You'll inherit an established portfolio of approximately 50 commercial accounts and be responsible for developing long-term partnerships, increasing share of wallet and identifying opportunities to expand services across existing customer portfolios. You'll also play a key role in generating new business and positioning the business as a trusted partner within the commercial property and facilities sector. Working closely with internal operations and technical teams, you'll manage the customer relationship from initial engagement through to contract renewals, ensuring exceptional service delivery and long-term client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an established portfolio of key commercial accounts. Increase customer spend by identifying additional service opportunities. Develop strong relationships with Facilities Managers, Property Managers and other key stakeholders. Prepare quotations and assist with tender opportunities. Secure contract renewals and drive long-term customer retention. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes. About You You'll bring a strong commercial mindset and enjoy building long-term customer relationships while remaining focused on achieving growth. We're interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in: Account Management Business Development Territory Management Key Account Management Experience within fire protection, facilities management, building services, HVAC, electrical, security, industrial products, commercial maintenance or other technical B2B industries will be highly regarded.
