Kaizen Recruitment is supporting one of Australia’s leading profit-for-members super funds as they seek a Senior Associate, Investment Tax to play a key role in shaping tax outcomes across a diverse, global investment portfolio. The Opportunity: This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner closely with Investments, Legal and Risk to deliver tax advice that directly influences investment decisions. You’ll work across a broad range of asset classes – from private markets and infrastructure to international structures – ensuring investments are structured optimally and aligned with the fund’s tax risk appetite. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of tax and investments, with responsibilities including: Supporting tax due diligence and structuring for new investments Providing clear, commercially focused tax advice across the portfolio Designing and reviewing domestic and offshore investment structures Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure tax-efficient implementation Contributing to tax strategy, including regulatory engagement and ATO interactions Monitoring legislative changes (local and global) and assessing portfolio impact Supporting tax risk reporting to senior leadership and committees Managing relationships with external advisors About You: You’re a technically strong tax professional who enjoys working on complex, real-world investment problems. ~6 years’ tax experience (Big 4, law firm, super fund, banking or funds management) Strong experience in investment structuring and tax advisory Solid understanding of Australian tax law, with exposure to international tax frameworks Experience across multiple asset classes (highly regarded) CA / CTA / Masters of Tax (or equivalent) preferred Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complexity into clear advice Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills To hear more about this role, please contact Callum McWhinnie at Kaizen Recruitment on 0412 123 706 or by emailing callum@kaizenrecruitment.com.au Reference number: 1716541 Profession:Accounting Company: Kaizen Recruitment Date posted: 18th Jun, 2026
