Lead and ownership of the payroll function for 350 staff National peak membership body advocating for over 50k members Sydney CBD with flexible work arrangements, 2 days WFH Lead Payroll Operations End-to-End The Client Our client is a well-known, non-profit membership organisation supporting directors and business leaders through education, advocacy and professional credentials. With approximately 350 staff all working for the success of their 50k members, they offer a collaborative culture and (very) stable environment. The Role Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own the payroll function and ensure accurate, compliant processing and reporting. Key responsibilities include: Managing timely and accurate monthly payroll processing Handling employee payroll queries discreetly, accurately, and promptly Processing payroll-related payments: superannuation, PAYG withholding, payroll tax, garnishes/child support Partnering with People & Culture and managers to ensure documentation is compliant pre-payroll Supporting annual statutory obligations (FBT, payroll tax, workers comp and related returns) Managing salary packaging arrangements (incl. novated leasing, purchased leave, etc.) Managing Government Paid Parental Leave and salary continuance processes Producing monthly and ad hoc payroll reporting for Finance and P&C Your Background To be successful, you’ll bring: Demonstrated experience running a standalone (or near-standalone) payroll for 200–500 employees Payroll experience in a SME sized organisation Strong compliance mindset and stakeholder skills across Finance and P&C Chris21 experience is highly regarded (not essential) If you are keen to apply for this Payroll Manager role, please contact Kent Maxwell at Richard Lloyd on quoting reference 10117 or click on 'apply now' below.
