Well-established non-profit membership organisation in Sydney CBD Your new company You'll be joining a not-for-profit membership association based in Sydney CBD. This well-established organisation supports a wide member base and provides excellent services to the community. Your new role You'll be coming into a small finance team in a newly created accountant role that combines a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, including the following: Month-end and year-end closing Management accounting, supporting budgeting and forecasting General ledger, Balance Sheet, BAS, reconciliations Process improvements Financial analysis and commentary Backup to the AP and AR Officers Supporting internal stakeholders What you'll need to succeed You'll be CA/CPA Qualified and have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role with the following background: Advanced level Excel (confidence with VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc. is imperative) Team player who works collaboratively Excellent technical knowledge and experience in the full month-end closing process Understanding of AASB to support audit, governance and compliance Experience in the NFP sector would be highly desirable.
