Exciting 12 month role available working with regional water authority Your new company Join a well-regarded regional water authority undergoing an exciting digital transformation, with the rollout of smart metering across their network. Your new role As a Connection Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the transition to digital water meters, ensuring installations across new developments are completed accurately and safely. This is a hybrid field and office-based role, giving you variety in your day while working across new residential and some commercial developments. Working closely with the property services team your responsibilities will include: Manage service requests and plan the day accordingly. Attending properties to inspect and verify water meter installations Identifying and reporting non-compliant or incorrect installations Activating meters and recording accurate data, including GPS locations Completing job safety analyses and adhering to safety protocols Uploading and maintaining accurate records in internal systems Preparing equipment and workload for upcoming days Supporting broader metering functions when required What you'll need to succeed Experience working in the water industry, maintenance, utilities, plumbing or construction Demonstrated computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant specialist software applications.
