The Opportunity An established Australian agribusiness with a longstanding presence in the agricultural sector is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Toowoomba-based operation. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a broad leadership position responsible for overseeing production, warehousing, logistics and administration functions while ensuring operational efficiency, profitability and exceptional customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, direction and development to production, warehouse, transport and administrative teams; Drive operational performance, productivity and profitability across the site; Maintain oversight of financial performance, including P&L management, budgeting and cost control initiatives; Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements; Monitor operational metrics and deliver reporting and insights to senior leadership; Identify and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality and service delivery; Work collaboratively with supply chain and procurement functions to optimise inventory management and meet customer demand; Strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers and the broader agricultural community. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated leadership experience within manufacturing operations, ideally within agribusiness or FMCG environments; Strong commercial acumen with experience managing operational and financial performance; Proven capability leading large, diverse teams and fostering a positive, accountable culture; Experience driving continuous improvement and implementing operational change initiatives; Sound understanding of inventory management systems logistics and production planning processes; Exemplary stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels; Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety and compliance requirements within a manufacturing setting. Tertiary qualifications in Business Management will be highly regarded though are not essential.
