Above award pay rates Monday to Friday Temp to perm opportunities Our client is a leading entity in the Heavy Steel Manufacturing Industry and are looking for Machine Operators to join their team at their Preston's & Erskine Park Locations Key Responsibilities Operate Machinery: Drive overhead gantry cranes to move structural steel profiles safely. Load & Unload: Unpack incoming steel shipments and load delivery trucks according to transport safety compliance. Order Picking: Measure, identify, and pick heavy steel beams, channels, and plates using pick slips. Machine Operation: Assist with basic cutting operations using bandsaws and cropping machinery. Requirements Experience: Minimum 1–2 years working in a heavy industrial, steel, or manufacturing warehouse environment. Tickets: Overhead Gantry Crane ticket or Dogging ticket is highly desirable. Fitness: Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug/alcohol screening and physical assessment.
