A strong opportunity exists for an experienced Civil Supervisor to join a high‑performing infrastructure delivery team working across complex civil, road, energy and multi‑disciplinary projects. This role suits a practical, safety‑driven leader with strong stakeholder capability and proven experience supervising civil works in both greenfield and brownfield environments. You will oversee day‑to‑day construction activities, coordinate operational teams and subcontractors, and ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications, environmental requirements and quality standards. The Opportunity As Civil Supervisor, you will take ownership of planning, sequencing and executing civil works while leading on‑site teams to achieve program, quality and safety outcomes. You will be a key interface between project management, subcontractors, authorities and field crews, ensuring clear communication and proactive issue resolution. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise on‑site operational teams and subcontractors Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality and cultural‑heritage requirements Conduct pre‑start meetings, toolbox talks and targeted training Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships Verify worker and subcontractor compliance (tickets, VOCs, SWMS, inductions) Identify and mitigate risks prior to commencing works Manage labour, plant and resources in line with program and production targets Support broader infrastructure projects and ensure safety systems meet legislative requirements Uphold quality standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Conduct site audits and maintain project controls Provide clear communication to project managers and senior leadership About You You will bring a practical, solutions‑focused approach and a strong track record supervising civil works on major infrastructure projects. 7 years’ experience in a similar civil‑supervision role Strong stakeholder management and communication capability Demonstrated experience delivering bulk earthworks and working in brownfield environments Proven ability to meet program, budget and quality requirements Experience working with authorities, councils and utilities “Safety‑first” mindset with strong risk‑identification and mitigation capability Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Current Driver’s Licence and Construction Induction Card (White Card) Highly desirable: First Aid, CPR, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Trenching Safety, Environmental Green Card, Certificate IV in Civil Construction Why This Role You’ll be joining a team delivering complex civil and infrastructure projects with a strong pipeline of future work, opportunities for growth, and exposure to major project environments across South Australia.
