About the Role Working as part of a maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability of industrial, heavy plant machinery & equipment through preventative and breakdown maintenance and fault finding. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with a heavy industrial background. Key Responsibilities Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy industrial plant machinery & equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime Assist with machinery installations and continuous improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For Trade-qualified Fitter (Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent) Experience in a maintenance role (Heavy Industrial) Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Hands-on welding, grinding, cutting, and fabrication skills Ability to work independently and within a team Current working rights in Australia What’s on Offer Permanent, full-time role with unlimited overtime opportunities Competitive hourly rates and conditions Day or Afternoon shift roster with weekend/after-hours work Immediate start available If you’re a qualified Mechanical Fitter with heavy industry / plant machinery experience and looking for your next long-term opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
