About Us Using your natural aptitude for problem solving, fixing things and using tools to keep e-Bikes and e-Scooters rolling around the city of Melbourne. Your role is as part of a supportive team to ensure that all e-Bikes and e-Scooters are at an operational and safety standard, ready for deployment, for the public to use for transportation. You will be provided with detailed training and instruction on the repair of the model of bikes and scooters used. Most of the work is mechanical in nature, and there is a small amount of computer and software update work. Any experience with bikes or scooters would be welcomed. Responsibilities Ensure all e-Bikes and e-Scooters are at an operational and safety standard and ready for deployment for the public to use for transportation Complete day to day general technician tasks Completing small amounts of computer and software update work Maintain WHS, safety, and hygiene standards Carry out tyre maintenance including changes, inflation, and assembly Support inventory control and organisation of tools, parts, and vehicles Accurately document completed inspections, repairs, and parts usage Perform repairs ranging from routine maintenance to complex electronic component replacement Manage battery operations including inspection, rotation, and check-in/check-out Your Profile Prior experience with e-Bike or Bicycle servicing and maintenance preferred Demonstrated ability to use standard hand and power tools to solve problems Intermediate computer skills (inventory management software, documents, web browser, emails etc.) Bicycle wheel building Locked in and hard working Comfortable with using smartphones/apps - text messaging Prior experience and part of a production team (preferred) Bike Mechanic experience of 1 year (Preferred) Other details to note: Start and finish time: 7am-3pm Ongoing onsite casual position requiring 2-4 days per week availability.
