This is a unique opportunity to work with pioneering bedside monitoring tools, such as ICM software, and support the delivery of major multi-centre clinical studies, including BONANZA-GT and PRECISION-TBI. Working closely with the Acute Brain Injury leadership team, you’ll contribute to data curation, protocol development, predictive modelling, and novel analytics for large-scale neurocritical care datasets and manuscript preparation and publication. https://www.monash.edu/medicine/sphpm/anzicrc/research/anzic-rc-acute-brain-injury-program As the Research Fellow - Data Scientist, you will: Develop and implement data management and analytics protocols for clinical trial datasets Apply deep learning and AI to time series neuromonitoring data Build and test predictive models using machine learning techniques Drive methodological innovation in neurophysiological data analysis Contribute to publications, grant submissions and independent research projects Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams to generate translational impact About You You bring a passion for solving complex data challenges in a clinical setting and thrive in an interdisciplinary, purpose-driven team. You have: A postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Data Science or related field Extensive experience working with large-scale, high-frequency (waveform) data Proficiency in analytics, AI, and modern data science tools Excellent problem-solving, project coordination and communication skills A PhD or equivalent research experience (preferred) Experience with clinical or physiological data (desirable) About Monash University At Monash , work feels different.
