About the Role At Velox Security, based in Seven Hills, NSW, we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for full-time role to support the smooth functioning of our systems and processes across the organisation. Role Purpose: This role will play a crucial role in driving our business forward and ensuring the smooth functioning of our systems and processes. Main responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at enhancing our business operations and delivering value to our users. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborating with users to articulate and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. • Identifying, investigating, and analysing existing business processes, procedures, and work practices to uncover inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. • Evaluating inefficiencies and proposing optimal business practices, as well as recommending • enhancements to system functionality and behaviour. • Utilizing project management methodologies to develop comprehensive project plans, oversee project costs and resources, and manage project execution. • Taking ownership of deploying functional solutions, including the creation, adoption, and implementation of system test plans to ensure system quality and integrity. • Developing user and training documentation and conducting formal training sessions to facilitate user adoption and proficiency. • Crafting functional specifications to guide system developers in the design and development of system software • Employing data and process modelling techniques to produce clear system specifications for the design and development of websites, apps, and systems. • Serving as a central point of reference and information source, offering guidance and assistance in system project decision-making processes. • Collaborating with users and programmers to design improvements to the functionality of websites, apps, and systems, ensuring alignment with user needs and technological capabilities. Eligibility Criteria: • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience • At least 2-3 years of experience in similar position • Should have full-time working rights in Australia Salary - $85,000 - $95,000 plus super Only eligible and shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
