Technical Solar Advisor About the Role We are seeking a technically strong and customer-focused Technical Solar Advisor to provide product support and guidance across solar systems, inverters, batteries and installation components. This role will support customers and internal teams with technical advice, troubleshooting and compliance knowledge. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support on solar panels including Aiko, REC, Jinko and Trina Advise on solar system configuration, including the difference between premium and budget solutions Support customers with grid-tied and hybrid battery inverters (e.g. Fronius, Goodwe, Sungrow, SolarEdge, Sigenergy) Demonstrate knowledge of solar mounting systems for tile, tin and tilt roofs (Powerwave, Clenergy, Schletter) Provide guidance on battery systems and manufacturers such as Sungrow, Goodwe, Sigenergy and Fronius Reserva Ensure advice aligns with Clean Energy Council regulations and industry guidelines Understand and explain Government incentives including STCs and BSTCs Assist with troubleshooting and technical queries over the phone Skills & Experience Strong electrical background (solar experience highly regarded) Solid understanding of circuit protection, cabling and cable management Ability to quickly learn new products and technologies Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills
