About the Role The Senior Advisor will support the functions of a new team which include: education functions, to drive voluntary compliance with the minimum standards trend and risk identification, including through data analysis, to help identify where to direct our focus the development and implementation of a new program of short notice inspections/visits to monitor ongoing compliance responding to and working with co-regulators on child safety incidents * project management to support the new and enhanced functions delivered by the team. Your role will involve assessing compliance by reviewing written documents (sometimes high volume) against a wide range of minimum standards. You may also be involved in short notice inspections/site visits as well as analysing and recommending responses to child safety incidents. You will play a key role in ensuring that students receive a quality education in safe and well governed environments. Attributes To be successful in this regulatory role, you will be a collaborative team player with excellent analytical, communication and project management skills. Desirable Qualifications and Experience You have experience in regulation, compliance, assurance or legal settings. Experience in working in a governmentcontext will be highly regarded. It is a condition of ongoing employment that successful candidates hold a valid Victorian Working with Children Check.
