Our Cocos and Keeling Islands Airfield Upgrade Project is now seeking a suitably qualified Senior Project Engineer, who is exploring their next challenge and unique experience. The Project involves significant enabling Scope of Work (SOW) to support airfield construction activities, including the delivery of a dedicated Material Offloading Facility (MOF), temporary accommodation camp, extensive temporary construction facilities, and associated services. This position will report to the Construction Manager and will be FIFO to the Cocos and Keeling Islands on a 2:1 roster. As a key member of the project team, you will lead the development of various packages and partner with key stakeholders and supply chain to develop and implement all necessary handover processes and deliverables for multi-disciplinary works in accordance with relevant specifications and standards. You will be highly capable at interface management, and resource co-ordination with an ability to build strong relationships and key networks, whilst working collaboratively across a diverse and complex environment. We are seeking a resilient, adaptable Engineer who is comfortable making decisions and taking initiative and one who priorities safety for all, committing to high productivity and ensuring that project planning, resources, budgets and timelines are successfully met. In addition, we are looking for a proven track record in civil infrastructure projects, preferably in similar works at airfields/airports and/or on Defence projects.
