This is a Senior Recruitment Advisor role with Harmony Australasia based in Cobar, NSW, AU Harmony Australasia Role Seniority - senior More about the Senior Recruitment Advisor role at Harmony Australasia Reporting to the HR Manager and working in partnership with the Hiring Managers, the Senior Recruitment Advisor will develop and execute proactive talent attraction and recruitment campaigns, identify and engage targeted talent pools, and build strong candidate pipelines to meet current and future workforce needs. Roster: This role will be based onsite in Cobar, NSW working an 8/6-day FIFO roster from Brisbane or Sydney with local candidates highly regarded. Local candidates will be offered this opportunity on a 5/2 Monday to Friday roster. Deliver high-quality, timely and cost-effective recruitment services, ensuring the successful attraction, assessment and placement of talent across the business. Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle in accordance with established policies, procedures and compliance requirements. Partner with Hiring Leaders to develop position descriptions, selection criteria and structured interview guides that support effective hiring decisions. Provide recruitment support and guidance during interviews, ensuring candidates are assessed fairly and consistently against the required competencies, skills and experience. Build and maintain strong talent networks through proactive sourcing, industry networking and relationship management activities. Deliver a positive, professional and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact through to offer and onboarding. Develop and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future workforce requirements, ensuring access to qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill roles. Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, Oracle Recruitment, Seek and other sourcing tools to identify, engage and attract passive and active candidates. Demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, ethical behaviour, integrity and confidentiality in all recruitment activities. Manage recruitment shared mailboxes and candidate enquiries, ensuring all correspondence is actioned accurately and within agreed timeframes. Maintain accurate recruitment records, databases and reporting tools, including updating recruitment tracking spreadsheets on a regular basis. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce time-to-fill, improve quality of hire and optimise recruitment costs and outcomes. Monitor and evaluate candidate experience, recruitment processes and employer value proposition initiatives, identifying opportunities for enhancement. About You: To succeed in this role, you should be self-motivated and able to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment with the following skills and experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in end-to-end recruitment within the mining, resources, energy, heavy industry or construction sectors. Demonstrated success recruiting both blue-collar and white-collar positions, including technical, operational, maintenance and leadership roles. Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment reporting tools, LinkedIn Recruiter and Microsoft Office applications. Strong experience sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn, talent mapping, headhunting and networking activities Proven ability to develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles. Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills across all organisational levels. Effective communication, organisation and time management skills.
