About the Role The Motor Mechanic position is responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work as part of the business's day-to-day workshop operations. The role supports workshop productivity by ensuring vehicles are inspected, serviced, and repaired in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Location: 2/13 Adrian Road, Campbellfield VIC 3061 Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 Superannuation Key Responsibilities Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical faults using testing and diagnostic equipment Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on a range of vehicles Repair and replace defective engine, transmission, steering, suspension, braking, and electrical components Conduct vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements Test and adjust mechanical systems following repairs and maintenance activities Carry out engine tuning and general mechanical repairs as required Maintain records relating to vehicle servicing, repairs, and parts usage Ensure workshop tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe and organised condition Communicate repair findings and maintenance requirements to supervisors where required Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times Skills & Experience Relevant qualification such as Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent Minimum 1–2 years of full-time relevant work experience in a similar role Experience performing vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repair work Strong understanding of automotive mechanical systems and repair procedures Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults efficiently Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively within a workshop and team environment How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and suitability for the position.
