Position: Chef Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: West Ryde NSW 2114 Number of Positions: 2 Our client is seeking two skilled Chef’s to join their restaurant in West Ryde, New South Wales. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook meals to meet quality and taste standards. Menu Planning: Create, design, and update the menu, adding new dishes or adjusting for seasonality. Kitchen Management: Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Staff Supervision: Manage and guide kitchen staff, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time. Inventory and Ordering: Track stock levels, order ingredients, and ensure supplies are always available. Quality Control: Ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen meets the restaurant’s quality standards. Cost Control: Monitor food costs, minimize waste, and ensure budget-friendly practices. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure food meets customer expectations and address any feedback or complaints. Health and Safety: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and follow food safety standards to ensure hygiene. Team Training and Development: Train kitchen staff, fostering skill development and teamwork. Requirements: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery / Kitchen Management At least 12 months of relevant experience as a Chef Proven track record of preparing authentic Indian cuisine in a commercial kitchen environment.
